Because I have an almost 9 year old who may read this, I need to be vague so hang with me.
We contact Santa every year to make sure he sends a special letter to our kiddos. I was recently made aware of a great program the jolly old elf works with to help with the letters and supporting babies and families at the same time. Go here for more information.

Ummm ... said almost 9 year old has known for years and years that there is no Santa. I guess I told her when she was ... sheesh ... in between 3 and 4. While I was at it, I blew the lid on the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, and all other fantasy things. I have a philosophical disagreement with the whole idea. She keeps her tongue very well, though. She still has many friends that believe in any one of those three and Sarah keeps up the charade. :) So she'll keep the secret.
Yeah, she's told me, but I'm not sure she's convinced because I get questioned every year about Santa's existence. :-) But I think I was around 9-10 when I figured it all out so I figure any doubts will soon be gone.
Why didn't anyone tell me?!?!?!?!?
